For many Connecticut residents, a seemingly normal day at work can turn injurious or even deadly in a matter of moments. Workplace accidents are extremely common, and, depending on the severity, an on-the-job injury can leave a victim with significant damages. According to reports, the victim was part of a construction crew that was working on a sewer line when a backhoe struck him. The man was taken to the hospital, where he passed away as a result of his injuries. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is now investigating the 55-year-old man’s death and will be looking to see if there were any safety violations.
