People who drive for a living in Connecticut are in danger of being injured or losing their lives in a crash without warning. These can happen for a variety of reasons from the other driver being distracted, reckless, under the influence or simply losing control of the vehicle. Regardless, families are impacted in myriad ways after a fatal accident. One of the key factors to recovering compensation in a legal filing is to have a full investigation to determine its cause. Having legal help is a critical part of gathering that evidence.

A crash between an out of control vehicle and a trucker led to the trucker’s death. The accident happened in the mid-afternoon at around 3 p.m. Ironically, the trucker had just completed a delivery of road equipment for construction work to improve safety. The trucker, a 45-year-old man, was outside his vehicle after completing his delivery. The other vehicle, a yellow Volkswagen driven by a 79-year-old woman, went out of control and hit him. He was brought to the hospital and died. The woman was hurt. There were no criminal charges filed against her. The investigation is continuing.

Getting a call that a loved one died in an accident is one of the worst things that can happen to a family. Not only are these fatal accidents unexpected, but they are often unnecessary and due to the negligent actions of another person. There are numerous issues that arise after a fatal accident including the lost companionship, pain and suffering, lost income, emotional impact and overall financial loss. People frequently have a difficult time getting beyond the accident. While a legal filing does not bring the person back, it can help them to cover various costs to try and restart their lives.

A trucker who was outside his vehicle following a delivery was hit by a car and killed. The investigation into the crash is ongoing, but his family must make certain their interests are protected by having a legal professional to examine the case from their perspective. When there is a fatal car crash, a fatal workplace accident or a combination, having legal advice is a must and a law firm that specializes in personal injury and wrongful death can help.
